Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Wystepek Digital Company, a division of Wystepek Ventures, LLC ("WDC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit wystepekdigital.com (the "Site"), contact us, comment on our blog, or submit a review. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Wystepek Digital Company, a division of Wystepek Ventures, LLC, located in Vanderbilt, PA. You can reach us about privacy matters at info@wystepekventures.com or (724) 317-4367.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form. When you send us a message we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, company, the service you're interested in, your budget range and your message.
• Blog comments. When you comment we collect your name, email address and comment text. Your email address is never shown publicly; only your name, comment and the date are displayed once a comment is approved.
• Reviews and testimonials. When you submit a review through our "Leave a review" form we collect your name, email address, star rating and review text, and, if you choose to provide them, your business name or role, your location and a photo or logo. We also record whether you gave us permission to publish your review. Your email address is never published; we use it only to confirm the review is genuine and to contact you about it. We may also add testimonials that clients send us directly (for example by email), with their permission.
• Communications. If you email or call us, we keep a record of that correspondence.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring page and date/time. We use this to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
• Spam and abuse protection. To prevent spam and abuse of our forms we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address (not the IP address itself) with form submissions, comments and reviews, along with your browser's user-agent for comments and reviews.
• Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6 and our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers or health information) through the Site. Please do not submit it in a form or comment.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your inquiries, provide quotes and schedule consultations;
• provide, maintain and improve our services and the Site;
• review, moderate and publish blog comments;
• review and verify testimonials and, only with your permission, publish your review, name, business or role, location and photo on the Site and in our marketing (for example on our homepage or social media);
• protect the Site and our users, including detecting and preventing spam, fraud and abuse;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Publishing your review is optional and based on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Section 8), and we will remove or anonymize your review going forward. Content already shared before you withdrew consent, such as printed materials, may not be retrievable.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only:

• with service providers who help us run the Site and our business (for example web hosting, database hosting, and, if enabled, email delivery and analytics), who may use it only to provide services to us;
• with Wystepek Ventures, LLC, our parent company, for business administration;
• when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of WDC, our clients or others;
• in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets;
• with your consent or at your direction.

5. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:

• Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after our last communication with you, unless you become a client, in which case we retain records as needed for the engagement and for accounting and legal purposes.
• Blog comments: for as long as the comment is published. Comments that are rejected or marked as spam are deleted periodically, typically within 90 days.
• Reviews and testimonials: published reviews are kept for as long as they appear on the Site, or until you ask us to remove them. Reviews we don't publish (pending, rejected or marked as spam) are deleted periodically, typically within 12 months, and photos are deleted together with the review.
• Security and rate-limit records: generally 24 hours to 30 days.
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider follow that provider's retention schedule.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 8).

6. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries, for example to remember your cookie choice and to keep site administrators signed in. These do not track you across other sites.

If we enable analytics (for example Google Analytics), analytics cookies are set only after you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls for our admin area. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of any marketing emails at any time. You may also ask us to edit or remove a review you submitted, or withdraw your permission to publish it. To make a request, contact us at info@wystepekventures.com or (724) 317-4367. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion and correction; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in Section 2 (identifiers, such as name and email; internet activity, such as technical log data; the content of your messages and reviews; and any photo you choose to upload with a review) for the business purposes described in Section 3. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Pennsylvania residents. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Pennsylvania law, including the Breach of Personal Information Notification Act (73 P.S. § 2301 et seq.). If a security breach involving your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

Other U.S. state privacy laws. If you live in a state with a comprehensive privacy law that applies to us, you may have similar rights to those above, including the right to appeal a decision about your request. 9. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
